What I Learned In School Today: Find teammates with whom you can be totally honest.

Teamwork makes such a difference. We are asked to move mountains each day in one way or another and too often take on these tasks head on but individually. At times, being an educator, particularly an administrator, can feel isolating and lonely, but it is so important to find your team. Whether that means developing relationships with staff members, administrators in other buildings, or a network of people through social media, we all need people with whom we are comfortable being honest and open. Being able to speak truth is therapeutic and something we all need.
